In preparation for their hugely anticipated headline performance at this year's Download
Festival, Black Sabbath announced an intimate homecoming show at O2 Academy Birmingham.
This was also a charity fund raiser for "Help For Heroes". The venue was packed with a sold
out 3000 capacity crowd.

This was Black Sabbath's first performance in their hometown for 11 years � and their first
concert since 2005. We had three-quarters of the legendary original lineup. Tommy Clufetos,
a member of Ozzy's solo band, is filling in for Bill Ward, who is sitting out the group's
reunion shows due to contractual disputes with his bandmates.

Tony looked well after his recent diagnosis with lymphoma - Ozzy proclaimed him "the Iron
Man!"

According to the artwork on this it states "NB Both concerts are from the soundboard and complete".

This another little beauty of a silver disc I have entitled "Two Sides To Every Story".

It is on the Vulgartone record label with a catologue nos of VU 500.

Again I have a feeling this was another early Oasis disc that I bought so that would make it about 1996.

The quality is stunning 10/10. You get two shows for the price of one (which would have been my thinking back in the day)

This is a little beauty you won't be disappointed I can assure you.

As far as I can tell this has not been on the tracker before.

Ok here is another silver I have entitled "Noel Gets To The Point"

Again as always with my silver discs, this was bought at a record fair well over 10 years ago now.

There is no record label listed on the disc however the catologue nos is NG017.

It is an incomplete FM broadcast of an Oasis gig recorded live at The Point Depot Dublin

The quality of it consequently is excellent 10/10.

The thing that sets this gig apart from all the 1997/98 Be Here Now Tour is that Liam had one of infamous sore throats so Noel is on the vocals all the way through.

The result of this is that this is the only time "The Girl In A Dirty Shirt" was played live.

As I've stated on notes of other stuff I've shared from my collection.

The only reason I have so much Oasis silvers is that my two young sons at the time used to badger me to buy "Live" Oasis when I went to record fairs, which back in the day I would religiously attend every time they came to Manchester so probably
5 a year plus the big one at the G-mex.

Anyway I digress just enjoy another nice recording.........

I received this in trade a while back. This is a very cool performance from Levon on the Imus show. I don't know how much was actually broadcast, but this is the footage that I have. After one song, Imus thanks Sammy Davis Jr. which is pretty funny. Little Sammy Davis didn't complain. There are a couple of cuts, but none during the music. The Band on Leno was on the dvd I got in trade so I left it there.

Ok here's another little beauty of a silver single disc I have entitled "Swedish Radio '94 + More".

It's on the KMA (Kiss My Ass) record label, with the catologue nos of KMACD002.

This was one of the first silver Oasis discs that I bought, and the price ticket of �14 is still on the cd case.

The majority of it is captured by a swedish radio broadcast from the Hultsfred Festival on 13th August 1994.

The sound quality is stunning and there are some great renditions of songs.

In Shakermaker for example Liam starts singing about buying everyone a certain world famous brand of "Cola"

The Bonus tracks are from Whiskey A Go Go LA 29-09-1994. The sound again is either from a soundboard or radio broadcast and great. Just a little bit of fluctuation in the first track.

Overall the sound of this disc captures the band with all the power and energy which turned them into one of the worlds best Indie acts, and represents some of the best 73 minutes or so of Oasis you'll have the pleasure of listening to.

Sup or 10/10 no problem you won't be disappointed with this little cracker of a disc.

As always turn it up blast it out, but the main thing is just enjoy..............................................................

It was a nice but windy day for the show and the my first attempt at taping
an outside event. We were there to party and did a good job. In the backpack
went 2 bottles of everclear, the equipment, a pineapple, some apples and
oranges then Juice on top. The guard reached down to the pineapple then quit.
LOL. Unfortunatley the windscreens did not make it and at times the the wind
is annoying, also there was a female screamer in the group but she wasn't that
drunk for Dokken so it's not too bad. All in all it's not distorted and is
listenable and mostly complete.

Do what you want with this just give me credit for taping.

I included a scan of the Tiicket Stub as well.

This is my first upload and I also have Scorpions, Van Halen and Metallica from this gig.
There are some tape flips PA problems wind and screamers But I'm going to get them
out there anyway. If anyone has a better recording of this please up it. A big thanks to

As far as I can tell this third night at Earls Court has not been on the tracker.

This is a double silver picture disc which as always I purchased in Manchester within a few months of this concert so I would say early 1998. There is no record label on the discs, However the Ctologue Reference Nos is EC001/2

I used to buy the magazine "record Collector" magazine on a monthly basis and they would list where and when "The Trans Penine Record Fair" was in your local area. I always made an attempt to get to the big fair in Manchester held at the G-Mex Arena. Dealers from all over the country would come to that one and the choice was unbelievable.
The only problem was at �25 for a double and �14 for a single �100 didn't go very far.

Anyway I digress, back to this recording it's brilliant. As I listen to this now for the first time in wee while,
what an enjoyable listen it is.

I'm struggling to call this an audience recording it has a feel of a dry mixing desk recording. However to be on the safe side I've listed this as and Audience recording rather than Soundboard, as it may well have been recorded on a DAT recorder but I can assure there are not many better 1997 recordings from this tour out there. It's great!! Furthermore another reason I like this show is I was there.

Consequently I'll rate the sound on this at 9/10 or Ex+

Ok here's another one that I can't see on the tracker.

Once again this is a double silver disc I have in my collection entitled "Belfast Odyssey". It's culled from an audience recording taken from the Odyssey Arena in Belfast on 29th June 2002.

Once again the set list is enticing. The sound on this is not as good as some of the other shows I've shared recently however it's still pretty decent and I'd rate the sound as 7.5/10.

Again I think these disc I've bought way back when at a Manchester record fair, are very well home made silver cdr's. However the price ticket is still on the cd case and this little beauty cost me �25. A huge amount of money when you think about it 10 years ago.

Anyway you can have for free, spread this recording amongst your friends get in in the car and the most important thing is just enjoy it. These recordings for me are far sweeter now that the band are no more having gone their separate ways.

This show is a moment caught in the Oasis timeline by those folks that recorded it.

Ok so continuing with a 2002 theme here's another double silver disc I have this time from a radio 1 broadcast from Finsbury Park London 7-7-2002. The disc is entitled "Oasis Finsbury Park 7-7-2002". Again there is no record label or cat nos, and once again I feel this is a very well made silver homemade silver.

The sound is quite simply stunning in quality 10/10 or Sup. There's also a great setlist.

Not much else to add but just enjoy the music, get this made into a cdr put it on your car cd player and get it turned up and blast it out with the windows open.......awesome stuff!!

It's on the Jolly Roger Music record label with no cat nos.

I'm pretty confident to say this is a genuine soundboard recording. The levels do fluctuate early on as probably the engineer
alters the sound. Its fantastic quality 10/10

Not much 2001 stuff on the tracker so I thought I'd share this

It's weird now listening to some Oasis songs that are specifically about English football and Manchester City in particular.

Don't Look Back In Anger which is about City getting relegated sounds different somehow now we've won the title after 44 years.

Great to see Liam celebrating spraying champagne everywhere on Sunday.

Just listened to "The Swamp Song" from a Maine Road second night silver I have, oh yes. (Old Trafford ie Manchester Uniteds ground is what Manchester City fans call "The Swamp" Great stuff)

notes: This show, originally planned for the LA area, was problematic with respect to parking and cold temperatures. The unruly crowd was moshing in line during the soundcheck and to PA music! Before PJ started, a roadie sang a hysterical rendition of 'Copa Cabana.' The audience is launching shoes at the stage even before and during the opening acts. In fact, during Eleven's set, a shoe hits Jack Iron's bass drum, he stops the song and says that if he finds out who threw it he would make him pay for the damages (quite pissed). Finally, PJ hits the stage, with the audience behaving outrageously. Prior to 'Deep,' Ed remarks, "Kill your local rapist, but torture him first, then serve him to your enemy for dinner." Later: "The first guy I met today gave me this book and asked if I wanted to know the secret for living forever." Tossing it into the crowd, he says, "Why the fuck would I want to live forever?" During 'Porch,' Ed invites the audience to spit at him. The agitated crowd, continuing to throw stuff onto the stage, leads Ed to comment that "... me and Jeff are going to the front gate and when you exit, we are going to beat the shit out of every barefoot person here" and "... throw a gun so I can shoot you." The band eventually plays from behind their amps so they won't be hit by the flying shoes. This audience was awful. The recording of 'Blood' from this show is released on the 'Daughter' single. 'Fuck Me in the Brain' was released later on the third fan club single (as 'Ramblings'). The guys deserve a medal for playing this long and this well despite the rowdy crowd.

Artwork Notes:
The artwork included for this show will allow you to print out a booklet, by printing out the two pages of inserts (front and back), and then stapling them together at the fold. If you don't want to go to all this trouble (even though the end result is kind of cool) and just want to print out a traditional insert, you could use page 4 and 5 as the inside insert.

The double silver disc would have been purchased at a record fair in Manchester I think in 2002 they were held at the CIS building. It's on the Play It Loud record label with the Cat nos 070 and 071.

What can I say but this audience recording is actually one of my favourites, the sound is fantastic and you actually feel like your at the gig.

If you remotely like Oasis then grab this it really is good, 9/10.

The tracklisting is fantastic as well.

As far as I can tell this hasn't been shared on here before.
